In this Episode, Manny and I talk about snake protection and snake safety in the field. If you hunt in South Texas, you know it is prime rattlesnake country. We discuss snake boots, chaps, gaiters and snake proof materials. We also touch on snake safety in general, things to consider prior to being in the field and what to do should you have an encounter. Manny shares a few encounters he’s had in field with snakes. One very real and unfortunate for one of his working dogs and a few close calls that were hair raising. If you’re hunting the brush country and currently don’t run any kind of snake protection, I ask you to have a listen and hopefully you will reconsider. Be safe out there!
